Glover (CompuServe ID. 100025,2016) To Set-up the Program Copy the OPL files into your OPL directory & Translate them. Instructions for RATES program. Initially, all the countries and currency units are set to SPARE so that they can be customised. To alter them, select COUNTRY NAME from the CHANGE Menu This will display a Dialog box similar to the one shown below. ------------------------------- | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | | Change Spare to Spare | ------------------------------- Overwrite Spare in the right-hand column and type in the Country Name you require. Use Up & Down arrows to move between lines. Next, Enter your Home Language by selecting Home Language from the CHANGE Menu. Example:- ------------------------------- | Change Spare to English | ------------------------------- And Finally, enter your Home Unit of Currency (i.e. Pounds, Marks etc.) by selecting Home Unit of Currency from the Change Menu. This will display show a dialog box similar to the one below. -------------------------- | Change Spare to Spare | -------------------------- Overwrite the Spare in the right-hand column with the unit of currency. Example :- -------------------------- | Change Spare to Pound | -------------------------- To Save the Changes, press Enter after the Last Item has be entered. If you make a mistake on any item, use the standard editing keys to alter it. To cancel all the changes, press escape at any time. This concludes the Set-up Routine. Press Psion-X to exit the Program. Instructions for CURRENCY Program. On Start-up, the program displays a dialog box similar to the one below. ------------------------------- | Enter Price 0 | | Convert From Austrian | or whatever Country you |------------------------------- enter first in the rates | To Quit To Calculate | program | ------- --------- | | | Esc | | Enter | | | ------- --------- | ------------------------------- Select the Currency you want to convert from by moving the cursor down to the line, and using either the left or right cursor keys until the correct country is displayed. Once this has been selected it will remain the default until it is changed again. (Even when you exit the Program) One this has been done, move the cursor back to the First Line (Enter Price) and enter the price to convert. Press Enter to convert the amount, and the following dialog box will be displayed --------------------------------- | Austrian Price = x.xx Schillings| |---------------------------------| | English Price = xx.xx Pounds | --------------------------------- Press Enter or ESC to return to the Previous dialog box and enter another amount.
